![]() ![]() So instead of being summoned from tomes like other Kiranas, your Guardian Kiranas can be seen on the left bottom corner of the screen where they can babble on about how great they are. Guardian Kirana is where we briefly depart from TCG and go in to Pokemon because Guardian Kiranas are like Pikachu who doesn’t know his place and won’t go in to his damn pokeball. I’m not sure of how the player’s base SP is decided but I think it depends on who the player’s guardian Kirana is. You have a base amount of SP and you can ‘pass’ tomes to ‘discard’ them and gain SP based on the element of the discarded tome. Again, it’s easy to understand SP if you think of them as mana in Magic the Gathering. But no, each Kirana has a different SP cost and SP comes in different elements. er I mean Kiranas to steamroll any opposition. Now you can’t just use any tome nilly-willy because that would be like gwent and then the only thing that would matter is forming a deck with the most OP car. I’m not sure on what limitation there is to reshuffling. Once you ‘draw’ all of your tomes from your deck you can ‘reshuffle’ it to start drawing tomes again. And being true to the TCG elements the types of tomes you ‘draw’ come from your party setup of Kiranas, or should I say ‘deck’. ![]() So generating a tome is basically a turn in TCG where you draw a card. With that said players will gain random tomes when a certain amount of time passes and each tome can be used to summon a Kirana. So for those who haven’t been following news on this game, people can form contracts with Kiranas which are the equivalent of cards in a TCG and Pokemons in… well, Pokemon at the same time. Simply put, the combat of Peria Chronicle is one half Pokemon, one half TCG, and a dash of MMORPG.Įvery concept introduced in the demo is easier to understand if you think in TCG terms.
